On July 1st hurricane Beryl struck the country of St. Vincent and the Grenadines mostly affecting the Grenadines islands. Our school (Lower Bay School Inc.) was especially affected by its passing. We lost our roofing on the Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 buildings, resulting in our books and educational materials being damaged. A large mango tree fell across our award-winning garden damaging our newly installed drip irrigation system.
